ACLS Carpool introduces easier way to log trips

Trip logging just got a whole lot easier. From 1 July 2025, ACLS Carpool Services is replacing the traditional paper log sheets with a simpler, more user-friendly and environmentally conscious solution – the eLogbook application.

What is the eLogbook?

The eLogbook is a secure, web-based application used to log vehicle trips during a car hire.

Why we’ve made the switch

For years, drivers had to complete paper logbooks by hand. Now registered ACLS Carpool drivers can:

• log trips directly from their phone, tablet or computer
• avoid paperwork entirely
• submit entries in real time
• can edit past rentals for up to 90 days
• can view past rentals for 180 days.

How it works

Receive a secure link – when you collect your vehicle, you’ll get an access link via SMS or email.
No login required – just click the link to access your personalised eLogbook.
Log your trip – after each day of use, click Add a trip to this hire, fill in the details, and save.
Stay on track – if you forget to log a trip, you’ll get automatic reminders until the record is complete.
